Leather Radio Strap
Leather Radio Strap . The CCI Radio Strap was designed as a means of having a strap for radios, but with full adjustability for the user and their requirements. To be used in conjunction with the CCI Anti-Sway Strap or as a stand alone item. Leather Radio Strap
The strap was developed for users that required a fast adjusting radio strap, but did not want the hassle of conventional buckles. Firefighters specifically tend to have their radio bucket hang very low to clear a bunker coat. This fast adjustment alleviates the need for having a low hanging strap all day.

The user sets the CCI Strap length using the rear side adjustment, so that the radio bucket sits against the hip comfortably at waist height. When fast adjustment is needed, the user runs out the front side adjustment using the COBRA buckle. This should give enough clearance for a bunker coat, and/or allow for different users heights quickly if the radio strap is an issued item to be shared amongst crews. Front adjustment allows for 8 additional inches.
A 1.5 inch COBRA buckle is utilized for the front side adjustment, and also in the event the strap needs to be disconnected immediately.
The microphone loop can be adjusted anywhere on the shoulder strap, allowing for infinite adjustability.

Two PALS/MOLLE webbing tabs are sewn right above the COBRA Buckle. This allows for various items to be secured to the strap such as a pen, flashlight, etc. A modular pouch available off-the-shelf can also be fixated to the tabs, allowing for the user to customize the strap to their preference. One example is a single mag pouch made by 5.11 found here:
Non-swivel HK style snap hooks attach the strap to a radio bucket. The strap material is flexible enough that swivels are not need.
In the event of a parts breakage such as the end hooks or microphone loop . They can be replace without having to send the strap back. The end hooks come off by weaving the strap out of the Tri-Glides. Leather Radio Strap
The Radio Strap can also be decontaminated by running it through an extractor or washing machine with a soft detergent.
